Triumphs, Miracles and Inspiring Christian Stories of Faith

Many people complain that Christian stories of faith, whether fictional or nonfictional, all seem to follow the same plotline. It used to be that it was all about being preachy, but now it is just all about being predictable!

The real problem though is that it highlights a fatal flaw in worldly, modern thinking. Many secular cynics write off the sin to redemption journey like the entire thing is supposed to be bad. They ignore how the triumphs in these inspiring Christian stories of faith are supposed to emulate the triumph of the cross.

How can any of that be bad? As the Lord says, there is more joy in heaven “over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons” (Luke 15:7). So what if it’s predictable?

Inspiring Christian stories of faith are defined by their alignment with the salvation story in the Bible. It is a pity that so many talented young believers often face pressure from the world to be ‘unique’ or put some kind of ‘twist’ in creative work.

They might as well be tasked to twist Scripture (which already happens on a regular basis in churches today). The salvation journey is meant to be one about miracles and holy triumphs of faith. These elements are more important than ‘spicing up the story’ for a number of reasons.

Inspiring Christian Stories of Faith Open Eyes to The Truth

The only truth that matters is God.

And from God, mankind has already received the Scriptures. The Scriptures, in turn, make it clear that only those who have accepted Christ will inherit eternal life.

The world does not want people to see this truth. The world wants to distract human souls with all the noise, the media and the materialism it has on hand.

Hence, it encourages people to ignore the forgiveness and renewal stories often repeated in the Scriptures. It is Satan’s own endgame, which couldn’t be further from God’s will.

People, some even professing Christians, often forget that it is God’s will that all be saved. However, people would rather enact their own wills and keep on that sinful lifestyle because it is comfortable.

That comfort is part of the blindness and it keeps them unaware (even of the deeper pain and emptiness that sin brings about). They do not believe in the life transformation that comes when you turn away from sin and start living life as God intended. To them, it is not a truth. It is just a cliché.

Those who have opened their eyes and taken down the blinders of sin and worldliness will appreciate the truth for what it is.

Christian Stories Also Necessitate Prayer

The people who criticize the predictability of Christian testimony have the same attitude towards prayer, miracles, spiritual intervention and the idea that God is active in the world.

However, their attitude also exposes that which lies at the heart of their problem: they do not believe.

These are people who think that the only purpose in this life is to exist, and then exist no more. They are the living example of the unrighteous described in 1 Corinthians 15. They are the ones who have made “Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die.” their motto in life.

They deny the transformative power of prayer and its ability to prepare them for an eternal life far greater, and more glorious, than any temporary pleasure in this world. The inspiring Christian stories of faith represent everything they reject!

After all, what is the opposite of believing and living for a life after death? What is the opposite of spending time to pray, and believing that God hears everything and knows everything in your heart? What is the opposite of believing that there is more to this existence than empty, dead matter? What is the opposite of believing that nothing is impossible, that the very laws of nature make for God’s will?

These people think that they have all the ‘evidence’ on their side. Ironically, belief in their so-called science is still belief.

There is No Such Thing as a ‘Modern’ Christian Story

The idea that a Christian story must be ‘modern’ is based on a misconception. It is the same problem when applied to Biblical wisdom. True modern Biblical wisdom is no different now than it was during the time of Jesus. Why add the label?

Just because a story happens to be set in our modern times does not mean it is really any different from the stories of faith in past centuries. The dress, language and worldly culture may be different. But at the heart, the truth of these inspiring Christian stories of faith has not changed.

Look at the Old Testament. Look to how the People of Israel were often surrounded, persecuted and ultimately conquered by different empires, all with their different gods.

Faith in modern life is no different. It was never any different. The truth that God promises a better life than the one in this world that is full of those who persist in living apart from what He intended.

They can call it a cliché, but that truth is not going to change.

Take this as your chance to learn the truth about living as God intended. You can find it on Amazon and the ReadersMagnet online bookstore.
