Looking for ways to live life as God intended is a privilege that we receive from up above. We practice the Godly way to keep our faith strong and connected to the One above.

Our existence on Earth is temporary. Life is short, and time flies fast. As mortals, we try to live life as God intended to help us enjoy another life in heaven with eternal happiness and righteousness. God will eventually bring us back to our home with Him on judgment day.

Living Life with Blinders On: Living Life as God Intended by Dr. Julius Mosley II is a book that talks about life after death. It awakens people to the spiritual fact that physical death is not the end of everything but the beginning of eternal existence. The book also talks about how God has given us choices while we live on this plane of earthly existence. As we walk on different spiritual awakening stages, we learn our ways to becoming born again with Christ in our lives.

Before we delve into the life after death, here are ways to enjoy and live life as God intended:

Acknowledge God and His Gifts

Every day, we receive God’s graces from the moment we wake up. The gift of life is something we have to be thankful for in our prayers. God has also given us the gift of talents and skills that we tend to grow and cultivate every day. As the first commandment states, “You shall have no other gods before Me,” we shall love God above all. Waking up is enough to acknowledge and thank Him for all the glory.

As we walk our spiritual ways in living life as God intended, we use the gift of talent to help us traverse the difficult path to salvation. God loves us. We love Him in return by praising His name and His glory.

Know the Difference Between Happiness and Joy

We enjoy our lives on Earth by looking in a direction where we can be happy. Did you know that happiness and joyfulness are different sets of feelings? Happiness is a feeling we pursue to find a sense that prevents us from being sad and down. We achieve happiness by chasing material things or people that make us feel good. On the other hand, joyfulness is felt in the heart and spirit. Seeking joy is looking for ways to live life as God intended. Joyfulness is taking comfort in knowing God is with us, and He already has a plan laid for us. We enjoy the earthly life more with both happiness and joy on our side. Spiritually, these feelings will lead us to eternal bliss with God. When we live life as God intended, we are aiming to achieve eternal joy with the Lord.

Count Thy Blessings

God provides us with so many blessings every day. Start counting the blessings and learn what to be thankful for. Most of the time, the challenges and temptations may distract us from God’s glory, especially when they are the works of the devil. Always remember that God has been with you from the moment you started to breathe and witness the world. The blessings that God gave you are some things that will remind you of the glory you received today. These are also signs that something bigger is in the future, especially when we live life as God intended.

Allow Yourself to be with God in Good and Bad Times

We understand that every day is not always the best. There are bad days waiting for us to experience what’s in store for us. You must remember that this is part of living a life as God intended. There are challenges that help us become stronger, wiser, and more faithful. Some of these challenges are there as they keep us praying more and getting connected with God. But worry not; God has always had a plan for us! After every storm are good days where you feel content, happy, and comfortable knowing that God is with you as you walk on your spiritual journey on the path to salvation.

Pray

Praying is a way to keep our connection with God strong. It is our way of communicating with the Holy Spirit to strengthen our personal relationship with the One above. To enjoy life as God intended, we must pray to be thankful for the blessings we receive every day, to praise His name, and to repent for our sins. We walk on our journey to salvation to free us from the grips of our mortal sins. With this curse of nature, we must repent for our sins and remind ourselves that we can still change our ways to be born again and become changed Christians.

Learn to be Patient

There are things that we cannot wait to get our hands on. However, there are times when opportunities may still not come our way. When this happens, we become disappointed. We question our capabilities and credibility in the field. It is a sign that we need to learn more and be patient. Living a life as God intended includes having the patience that we need to possess. Trust in the process and trust in the Lord. If the opportunity does not open its doors for you, God might have something different, more exciting, and more joy-giving for you.

FINAL THOUGHTS

To live a life as God intended becomes easier when we remember that God is always with us. The challenges may be daunting, but these are nothing compared to what God can do. After our existence on Earth, we are yet to experience eternal bliss beyond the gates of heaven once we achieve salvation at the end of the path of our spiritual journey.
